The Last Day of School Special
This is my last day of school! Wow! I’m just going to say that it’s my Sylvanians too. Here is a fun story that I really wanted to share.

Here are all the students. They are bringing their overdue library books to school.
Daphne really wants to finish hers.(or read it one last time)
Ground view.(sorry for the couch in the background)
The nursery school bus is here!
Awesome shot of Apple sliding down the slide.(it took many retakes)
Mrs. Goldbuckle is gathering up everyone for the days announcements. Then they are going to rehearse for the play they are doing soon.
Meanwhile, the older children are being called inside.
What do they call a group of students? A cluster?(by the way, sorry for the shadow. That’s my IPad and my arm.)
Everyone is putting away their library books and sitting down, so it is very noisy. Mr. and Mrs. Buckley are trying to get their attention.
Eventually, they call up Mr. Kango-Springer, who has the loudest voice to say,” EVERYONE BE QUIET!!!!!!!”
Then Mr. Buckley took attendance and called for everyone to line up.
Here is their so called good line.( it looks a bit like my line in school)
Meanwhile, the nursery school children are getting in alphabetical order for their play. Mrs. Goldbuckle is directing Ben to his spot among the B’s.
All of the other children are in the nursery school (quite a tight squeeze) and sitting quietly.
Mrs. Goldbuckle tells them all thank you for coming and then starts the play. I will tell the children’s name and their lines.
“Summer is cool, summer is cool!”
(Aven, Apple, Awon, and Aton)
“I like sitting by the pool!”
(Bea, Ben, Bridge, and Brooklyn)
“The last day of school is done,”
(Nellie, Honey, Creme’)
“ So now let’s have some fun!”
(Trevor, Sydney, Poppy)
All of the older children were kind by clapping saying,”encore!”
Then the teachers led the children into the older children’s school(slightly less stuffy). There was a projector set up and Mr. Buckley told everyone that they would be watching a video of the best moments of the school year.( Note: Calico Critters have fifty’s and earlier style clothing so the slideshow will be in black and white)
Nellie and Apple on the slide.
The day Frank got stuck in a tree.( I bet he’s still frowning)
Science club.
Some nursery school children raising hands.
Lucia and Sydney climbing a mushroom.
Random older and younger children.
Reading group.
Leap frog.
Sports day(at my school we call it field day).
Staff(minus Millie Goldbuckle).
Older children
Younger children.
After the slideshow all of the children sighed this piece of paper.
After that, school was done!
I wish my last day of school could’ve ended like that but, because of COVID-19, I’ve been doing school at home.
One last thing, I would love to thank all the teachers out there for their love, passion and devotion to their students. They will never forget you.
And a special thanks to my class and teacher who inspired Mrs. Goldbuckle and Buckley because of how happy and hilarious you all are. Without you this blog would never have happened.
