A Bad Night’s Sleep

If you have read my Villagers post, then you may know the Kango-Springers family. They just had a new baby and this can make it hard to sleep. So this is a story about one of these nights.

This is the Kango-Springers family. They are very athletic so they are hard sleepers. Most of the time.

This is Kiley and Cadence’s room. It is very tiny. 

Kiley is getting ready for bed. Her favorite color is red so she wears it all the time. 

Her mother Tessa, and little sister Cadence come in. “ Can I hold her, mom?” says Kiley politely. “No sweetheart,” says Tessa, “She’s in a fussy mood.” 

Kiley goes to brush her teeth and Tessa tucks Cadence in “Night night Candy,” says Tessa using Cadence’s nickname. 

Kiley comes back in from brushing her teeth and gets into bed. 

Then Tessa goes over to Kiley to kiss her goodnight. “ Night mama,” she says.  “Night sweetheart.”    

Then she leaves.

After that Mike comes in and kisses both girls goodnight. 

Then he leaves.

When he goes into he and Tessa’s room, he sees that Tessa is already in their bed and her eyes were closed.

He decides to lay down with her.

“Wa Wa Wa!!” It was Candace. 

“I knew she was fussy,” muttered Tessa as she got up.

.

She rocked Candy and got her a bottle. Soon, she was asleep. 

She tucked her in for the second time that night and then she went to bed.

After that, Kiley got up.

“Mama, I’m thirsty,” she said. Tessa got up and got her a drink of water from the sink.

Then she tucked Kiley again. “Good night,” Kiley said sleepily. 

Tessa spent the rest of the night tossing and turning in bed.

She said goodbye as Mike and Kiley went to school and Candy went down on her morning nap. Now she was all alone. She sat down on the couch and...

Snore snore snore.
